On February 17 the Idaho House Committee on Judiciary, Rules, and Administration held a public hearing on our Article V application (HCR 10) to rein in federal power as well as our 34Ready bill (HCR 9) which would set the procedural rules for selecting and guiding commissioners to an Article V convention. Rick Santorum provided expert testimony. Providing commentary are Senior Vice President for Legislative Affairs Rita Peters and Regional Directors Catherine Zemanek and Andrew Lusch. After a debate among the legislators and a series of motions, the committee ultimately advanced both pieces of legislation to the House floor by a vote of 8-7 with "do-pass" recommendations.

Where are the people that the 14th amendment was crafted around. Where are Black Americans in these discussions. I have heard those who are against Article V explain to a Black group that whites are trying to bring back slavery. That was a black Tennessee legislators who said this.

The share of the US debt per taxpayer on Feb 25, 2025, is $323,047.00. Another point is that High Court judges don’t make laws.

No matter which route is taken, it takes 3/4’s of the states to say yes or nay. Congress only set the date and time of the Convention. The president, the courts, or the congress has nothing but, once again, set the date, time, and place. power power lie

I support an Article V Convention. The nonsense of a runaway Convention to propose amendments to the United States Constitution is absurd.
