Courtesy of last night's election results, two states in particular have a newfound urgency to pass Convention of States before the year is out. Just 24 hours after election night, Rita Peters (Chief Public Policy Officer for Convention of States Action) joined host Jonathan Viaud to break down the most important results. They react not only to the national races but especially changes in the state legislatures, impacting the outlook for Convention of States legislation in the coming weeks and months.

Rick Santorum, Michael Farris, Mark Meckler, and Rick Green join hosts Rita Peters and Andrew Lusch to react to the election results and what it means for the Convention of States movement. In this never-before-heard audio, Mark Meadows headlines Convention of States Action's "States Rising" event. Held in August of 2026, States Rising was the first event of its kind, meant to bring a diverse group of state legislators together to discuss the particulars of Article V of the U.S. Constitution as well as the Convention of States movement. Meadows is a former congressman who served as President Trump's Chief of Staff. He is joined on stage by Michael Farris and Rick Santorum, who serve as Senior Advisors to COSA, as well as Rita Peters who serves as COSA's Chief Public Policy Officer. This program was the event's opening session.

This COS state team signed up 1,300 new supporters at a single event. And that's not all. Your host Andrew Lusch shares news from all across the fruited plain, as we near Election Day 2026.
